These private sewing sessions are ideal for teens who want to focus on specific projects, develop more advanced sewing techniques, or receive tailored guidance at their own pace.
Whether you want to start making your own clothes, clothes, master the art of upcycling, or explore a creative new hobby, a private lesson provide the perfect opportunity to build their skills and confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.
In-home sewing lessons
Perfect for beginners, homebodies, or anyone needing extra support.
Would you love to learn to sew but find it difficult to attend group classes or my workshop location? Whether due to disability, health reasons, or simply feeling more comfortable in your own space, my in-home private sewing lessons are a personalised and practical way to begin (or continue) your sewing journey. We can use your sewing machine or I can bring one of mine.
These one-on-one sessions are tailored to your experience, pace and learning style. You’ll gain hands-on skills while working on a simple project that teaches the essential foundations of sewing. From understanding fabric and threading a machine to safely using sewing tools, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
* If you’re an NDIS participant, you may be able to claim the cost of your sewing lessons under your plan. Please speak with your support coordinator or plan manager to see if it’s covered as part of your funding.
Group sewing workshops for teenagers
Looking for a fun and creative way to spend time with friends or family? My group sewing, upcycling and sustainability workshops are the perfect solution!
These sessions allow participants to learn and create together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whether it’s a birthday party, a family bonding activity, or just a casual get-together, a group workshops can be tailored to suit the interests and skill levels of your group.

To ensure all participants at my teen workshops is safe and supported whilst they learn, there are a few things attendees and parents need to keep in mind…
A Parent or Guardian Must Attend with Children Under 16
For participants under 16 years of age, a parent or guardian must be present during the workshop.
Non-Participating Parents Attend for Free
If you’re just there to support your child and won’t be participating in the workshop activities, you can attend at no cost.
Participating Parents Pay Full Price
If you’d like to join in on the fun and create your own projects alongside your child, we’d love to have you! Participating parents or guardians will need to purchase a workshop ticket.

Learn how to sew and use your sewing machine with confidence. All sewing classes are beginner friendly, fun, supportive and hands-on. With a maximum of 4 people per class, there is plenty of time for dedicated, one-on-one attention.
Classes are held at my sewing and clothes upcycling workshop in Frenchs Forest on Sydney’s Northern Beaches (near Northern Beaches Hospital). Private lessons and groups workshops can be held throughout Sydney at a location of your choice.
Elevate your wardrobe and keep clothes out of landfill at my clothes upcycling workshops. Breathe new life into old clothes and altering clothes that don’t fit properly. These fun and hands-on clothes upcycling workshops include how to make simple clothes alterations through to complete transformations.
Dressmaking classes are held once a month, each covering the basics of making staple garments – tops, pants, dresses and skirts. Reserve your place and start your journey toward a more creative, conscious, and stylish way of dressing. All you need is a willingness to learn – I’ll teach you the rest.
