Learn to sew school holiday classes for children.
Looking for a fun, creative, and hands-on school holiday activity? My school holiday sewing classes are perfect for children aged 8–14 years who want to learn how to sew and gain confidence using a sewing machine.
Held in a supportive and engaging environment, each class is limited to just 4 children to ensure individual attention and personalised guidance.
These school holiday sewing classes are beginner-friendly and introduce kids to the world of sewing in a fun, safe, and inspiring way. Each child will complete a unique over-shoulder bag to take home, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Everything is provided, including sewing machines (or you can bring your own).
This is a wonderful bonding experience.
Parents, guardians, grandparents, and close family friends are warmly encouraged to attend alongside their child. In the busyness of everyday life, it can be hard to find meaningful one-on-one time. This workshop offers a special chance to slow down, connect, and create something together. Whether you’re helping from the sidelines or joining in as a participant, it’s a shared memory both of you will treasure.
What your child will learn:
- How to safely use a sewing machine
- Basic sewing techniques and fabric handling
- Confidence in creating their own handmade project
- The value of upcycling and sustainable living
Note: A parent or guardian aged 18+ must remain on-site for children aged 14 and under.

When: Wednesday 16 July
Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm (2.5 hours)
Cost: $120.00 (incl GST)
Location: Northern Beaches Sydney (near Northern Beaches Hospital)
Morning or afternoon tea will be available for attendees to enjoy. Unfortunately, I cannot cater to the specific dietary or allergy requirements of individual attendees. Workshops are nut-free.

Teens aged 15+ can join an adult sewing class
Teens aged 15 and over are welcome to join my sewing classes for adults (with parent / guardian’s permission), where they’ll enjoy the same warm, encouraging environment while learning alongside adult participants.

These small group classes teach the sewing essentials, from threading a machine to constructing and altering garments. Perfect for absolute beginners or those wanting a refresher.
Private group sewing workshops for kids
Planning a birthday party or fun group activity during the holidays? I offer group sewing and upcycling workshops tailored for children. These sessions are a creative and memorable way to learn together.

Safety and Supervision
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Non-participating parents attend free of charge.
- Participating parents are welcome and will need to book a paid spot.
- I hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWC3084198E),
- All lessons are run in a supportive, inclusive, and child-safe environment.
