Group and corporate sustainability workshops

corporate sustainability workshops

Sustainability workshops that inspire change for the better.

Sustainability is no longer a buzzword – it’s a responsibility that individuals and workplaces should embrace.

My sustainability workshops offer a unique and practical way for businesses and groups to get inspired and equipped with the tools to start making a positive environmental impact.

Each workshop is carefully planned to deliver a mix of practical activities and informative information. Participants begin by learning about the environmental issues associated with fast fashion, such as textile waste, water consumption, and carbon emissions. This foundational knowledge sets the stage for discovering sustainable solutions, where attendees explore actionable ways to reduce their impact. These solutions include choosing quality over quantity in clothing purchases, repairing garments, and upcycling existing pieces to extend their usability.

The heart of the workshop is the hands-on upcycling activities. Participants are encouraged to bring old or unused garments and learn techniques to repair, alter, or transform them into something new and usable. This could involve resizing or repurposing items entirely. The collaborative nature of the workshop fosters teamwork and creativity, making it an excellent team-building exercise that aligns with corporate sustainability goals.

These workshops are an opportunity to combine creativity, education, and environmental responsibility in a hands-on, fun, interesting and engaging format.

A more sustainable lifestyle and workplace.

The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to global pollution. Fast fashion, in particular, drives overproduction, excessive waste, and significant carbon emissions. By focusing on clothes upcycling and sustainable practices, individuals and organisations can help combat these issues while fostering awareness and important change.

Each workshop is curated to inspire and engage participants

  • Understand the environmental impact of clothing production and waste – and what we can do to reduce our impact.
  • Discover what really happens to the clothes you donate to charities and clothing bins.
  • Recognise the value of repairing, mending, altering, and repurposing clothing.
  • Develop practical skills to reduce waste and extend the lifespan of garments.
  • Learn simple techniques to alter clothes in your wardrobe so they fit properly.
  • Elevate your casual and corporate wardrobe through upcycling and second hand shopping.
  • Learn how to thrift shop with purpose and how to hunt out the best bargains.

These workshops aren’t just about learning – they’re about creating a lasting mindset shift that participants can carry into their personal and professional lives.
